Back to: Sales & Client Onboarding
Sales Policies
We do not book a meet & greet unless a client has specific dates they want to book for pet sitting or dog walking.
We do not allow clients to request visits over text message.
We have a minimum charge for the first set of bookings. Once a client is in our system, we do not have a minimum charge for their subsequent bookings.
We must either set the client up with a lockbox, have a garage code, a key on file, or some other reliable way to enter the home. We can not pick up / drop off a key from an apartment’s office, or from a neighbor.
I always look up if a client is in our service area. We have some areas of town we can no longer service because of off leash dogs or issues at certain apartments.
We do not offer exact times for visits, however we can try to shoot for a certain time. However, there is no guarantee. We do guarantee we will be there during the time slot. See your downloadable sales sheet for example timeslots and other helpful “cheat sheets”. Please update your cheat sheets as you see fit in your business.
A Few Notes About This Course
You will hear some long pauses during some of the sales recordings. That is when I am looking something up in the system, taking notes on the sales sheet, trying to figure out when to schedule the meet & greet, etc. You also will notice I say some of the same things during the sales calls. Those are some of the most important items.
This course should be seen as an example sales process. It is important to adjust the process to fit your needs of your company. However, this will be a very good starting point.
Our prices for pet sitting and dog walking have gone up. You will notice we have tested a number of different prices and visit lengths during our sales calls.
Lastly, we no longer use the messaging system through Precise Pet Care. Rather, we have moved to having clients email us at office@ourwebsite.com
