Example Sales Call #3 - Pet Sitting Policy Explanation
Sales Call Notes
This call is a good example of what people are looking for during a typical cat visit and from pet sitters in general. This call goes through a lot of the common questions pet sitting clients have. Also, this call has a decent explanation of each policy.
You will also notice I get an idea of what the client is looking for before I get into prices and what we can get done in a certain amount of time.
Some notes: We usually don’t set up a meet & greet until a client has solid dates they want to book for pet sitting. We also no longer offer nail trims, because they can be very dangerous. I always recommend sending over two experienced sitters / groomers to any cat nail trim.
Again, listen for the items I repeat in each sales call, those are the important items.
I really liked hearing the question about a back up sitter. I’m just starting out in the business so it’s going to be just me & it never occurred to me that something could happen to me during my time to pet sit. This question made me realize I do need a back up plan!

I’m learning that a back up sitter is very imp for so many reasons and inclement weather!
